PepsiCo has renewed its long-standing partnership with Taco Bell in the US and several international markets.

The new 11-year agreement will see PepsiCo continue supplying beverages to participating Taco Bell, Taco Bell Cantina and Live Más Cafe locations across the US through 2036.

Under the agreement, Taco Bell will continue offering PepsiCo brands including Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, Mountain Dew and Starry, alongside exclusive products such as Mountain Dew Baja Blast and Mountain Dew Baja Midnight.

The companies have collaborated for more than two decades, developing products including Mountain Dew Baja Blast and Doritos Locos Tacos. Baja Blast has since grown into a billion-dollar brand, while Doritos Locos Tacos is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2027, with new flavours planned.

Looking ahead, the partnership will place greater emphasis on emerging beverage trends, including crafted, functional and energy drinks. The companies aim to develop new offerings targeting younger consumers, particularly Gen Z, while expanding beverage options for morning and afternoon consumption.

Recent innovations include Taco Bell's Refrescas beverage platform, alongside an expanding range of crafted and functional drinks.

Anne Fink, president of PepsiCo Global Away from Home, said: “Some of PepsiCo’s best foodservice innovations have come from partnerships that challenge us to think differently, and Taco Bell has always brought that energy.”

She added: “What makes this partnership special is how we bring together Taco Bell’s connection to culture with PepsiCo’s consumer insights, culinary capabilities and beverage expertise to create what’s next.”

Meg Farren, Taco Bell’s president of North America, highlighted the importance of the partnership in supporting the restaurant chain’s long-term growth and responding to changing consumer preferences.

Beyond the US, PepsiCo has also renewed its role as Taco Bell’s beverage partner in Canada, the UK, Ireland and Thailand.

In these markets, the companies will focus on developing locally tailored beverage offerings and programmes designed to meet the needs of consumers and restaurant operators.
