Starbucks has appointed John Elliott, the former chief technology officer of Sainsbury’s, as VP of technology for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
In his new role at Starbucks, Elliott will set and execute the technology strategy across 42 countries in EMEA, oversee digital service delivery and participate in both the EMEA and global technology leadership teams.
Prior to Sainsbury’s, Elliott also held senior roles at Morrisons from 2011 to 2014, serving as applications manager and later as head of applications and development.
