AB Akola Group has acquired a 51% stake in Lithuanian beverage producer OMG Bubble Tea, taking control of the company as part of its strategy to expand its presence in the beverage sector.

The acquisition builds on an existing partnership between the two companies, which began in 2024 when Akola Group acquired a minority stake in OMG Bubble Tea and joined its board.

Under the new ownership structure, OMG Bubble Tea's founders will remain involved in the company's management and business development, while Akola Group will appoint three of the five board members.

Akola Group operates across the agricultural and food production value chain in the Baltic States, employing more than 5,000 people. Its portfolio includes Kauno grūdai, Linas Agro, Vilniaus paukštynas, Kaišiadorių paukštynas and Dotnuva Baltic.

Founded in 2022, OMG Bubble Tea produces natural bubble tea beverages and exports approximately 97% of its products to European markets, including France, Germany, the UK, Austria, Greece and Italy.

The company generated sales revenue of €9.5 million in the 2025 financial year.

For the 2025/26 financial year, the group reported consolidated revenue of €1.5 billion, EBITDA of €95 million and net profit of €43 million.

OMG Bubble Tea operates a manufacturing facility in Panevėžys, Lithuania, which employs 51 people. The site has undergone production automation and operational efficiency improvements.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
