Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs has announced that its CEO, Anders Fredriksson, will step down in September.

Fredriksson will take up the chief executive position at personal care product company Humble Group. Löfbergs has initiated a search for his successor.

Fredriksson, who has led the company for five years, will remain in post until his departure later this year to ensure continuity during the transition.

Chair of the board Kathrine Löfberg said Fredriksson had helped establish a strong platform for future growth and welcomed the extended handover period, which allows time to appoint a new CEO.

Fredriksson noted the decision to leave was difficult, citing pride in the company’s progress during his tenure, and added that he would continue to follow Löfbergs’ development.

Founded in 1906 in Karlstad, Sweden, Löfbergs is a family-owned coffee roaster with operations across the Nordics, Baltics and the UK. The company began exporting in 1993, and international markets now account for around half of its sales. It is also investing in expansion in Poland.

Humble Group, a publicly listed company, comprises around 40 businesses spanning food, nutrition and personal care. The group reports annual turnover of approximately SEK 8.1 billion (approx. $862 million) and employs around 1,200 people.
