Sanpellegrino has launched Strawberry Crema, a new sparkling soft drink made with Mediterranean strawberry juice, as part of an expansion of its Crafted Soda Italiana Zero Added Sugar range.
The new flavour, inspired by strawberry-based desserts, contains no added sugar and just ten calories per can. The launch responds to growing consumer demand for berry and red-fruit flavours, alongside increasing interest in lower-sugar drinks that offer additional functional benefits.
Strawberry Crema joins the brand’s existing Zero Added Sugar range, introduced in 2024 with three flavours: Pesca and Clementina, Limonata and Aranciata Rossa.
The range has also undergone a reformulation, with vitamin B6 and magnesium added across all flavours. Both nutrients contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, supporting the brand’s efforts to appeal to health-conscious consumers.
Gemma Barton, marketing manager at Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages UK, said: “Strawberry Crema brings a distinctive new twist to the Sanpellegrino Crafted Soda Italiana Zero Added Sugar range".
“Combining delicious strawberry juice and a velvety flavour with the premium Italian credentials consumers know and love from Sanpellegrino, it also offers the added benefits of vitamin B6 and magnesium.”
She added: “Created for modern, balanced lifestyles, it delivers a moment of ‘permissible indulgence’ with only ten calories per can and the functionality consumers are increasingly looking for in their soft drinks.”
The new flavour will be available in selected UK retailers from 27 October 2026, ahead of a wider wholesale rollout in 2027.
